Softwashing UK cleaned and treated cladding and concrete in a large industrial unit on behalf of the storage and removal company Fox, Llanishen. Both the concrete and the cladding needed a deep clean, with dirt, dust, pollution, traffic film, and organic atmospheric growth all present. This was a busy commercial area, with many vehicles coming and going, and pedestrian footfall to account for too. technically speaking cleaning cladding is different form cleaning concrete. The two substrates differ in terms of tensile strength and permeability, so need to be cleaned and restored differently. High pressure can be used on concrete, but not on cladding.

The Fox depot is a very busy area, with storage and removal vehicles coming and going with great frequency. We therefore needed to arrange to clean and treat these areas in times that did not interfere with the day to day operations of their business. Work took place out of office hours, both early morning and over the weekends. The concrete was fully restored using steam cleaning technology and biocide. The cladding was restored using softwashing treatments and steam. Every inch was covered and both of the substrates were left in immaculate condition. this was particularly pleasing for the client as the area had began to look unsightly, and therefore give the incorrect impression. Our client was delighted with the results and subsequently booked Softwashing UK again, to clean another of their depots in another area.
